1. Getting Started

Before you can extract contacts, you need to connect the app to your WhatsApp account. This works similar to WhatsApp Web – it links your phone to the app securely.

Opening the Feature

1. Navigate to WA Group Contacts Extractor: Find and tap this option in your app menu.
2. Wait for Startup: The app will automatically start preparing. You’ll see a “Connecting…” message.
3. Choose Your Connection Method: You have two options to link your WhatsApp account (see below).

Option A: Using Pairing Code (Recommended)

This is the easiest method if you don’t have another device to scan a pattern.

1. Enter your WhatsApp phone number in the box provided. Important: Include your country code with a plus sign (e.g., +1234567890).
2. Tap the “Get Code” button.
3. A special code will appear on screen (like: 1234-5678).
4. On your WhatsApp phone, go to Settings > Linked Devices > Link a Device.
5. Tap “Link with phone number instead”.
6. Type in the code shown on the app screen.
7. Wait for confirmation – you’ll see “Connected” when successful!

Option B: Using the QR Pattern

Use this if you prefer scanning a pattern with your phone’s camera.

1. Tap the “Show QR” button.
2. A unique black and white pattern will appear.
3. Open WhatsApp on your main phone.
4. Go to Settings > Linked Devices > Link a Device.
5. Point your camera at the pattern on screen.
6. Wait for confirmation – the status will change to “Connected”.

Note: If the QR pattern expires before you scan it, simply tap “Show QR” again to get a fresh one.

2. Viewing Your Groups

Once connected, the app will automatically load all your WhatsApp groups.

What You’ll See

• Groups List: A list showing all your WhatsApp group chats.
• Group Count: The total number of groups found (e.g., “Found: 15 groups”).
• Refresh Button: Use this if you recently joined a new group and don’t see it in the list.

Selecting a Group

Simply tap on any group to see who’s in it. The app will then fetch all the members of that group.

3. Viewing Group Members

After selecting a group, you’ll see a list of all members (participants) in that group.

What You’ll See

• Group Name: The name of the selected group appears at the top.
• Member List: Each member’s name and phone number is displayed.
• Selection Count: Shows how many contacts you’ve selected (e.g., “12 of 25 selected”).
• Checkboxes: Each member has a checkbox – checked means they’ll be saved.

Choosing Which Contacts to Save

• Select All: Use the “Select All” checkbox at the top to quickly select everyone.
• Individual Selection: Tap individual checkboxes to include or exclude specific people.
• Unselect All: Uncheck the “Select All” box to clear all selections.

Tip: By default, all members are pre-selected for your convenience.

4. Saving Contacts to a Campaign

A “Campaign” is simply a saved list of contacts that you can use for bulk messaging later.

Premium Feature: This feature requires a Premium subscription. Non-Premium users will see the save button disabled.

How to Save

1. Select Contacts: Make sure you’ve selected the contacts you want to save.
2. Tap “Save to Campaign”: Press the purple button at the bottom of the screen.
3. Name Your List: A popup will appear with a suggested name (the group name). You can change this to anything you like (e.g., “Gym Friends”, “Work Team”, etc.).
4. See the Count: The popup will show exactly how many contacts will be saved.
5. Confirm: Tap “Save” to create your new contact list.

After Saving

Once saved, the app will:

• Show a success message with the number of contacts saved.
• Automatically take you to the Campaign Summary screen where you can see your new list.

You can now use this campaign in the WhatsApp Automation feature to send bulk messages!

5. Status Indicators

The colored dot next to the connection status tells you the current state:

• ● Green (Connected): Successfully linked to WhatsApp. You’re good to go!
• ● Orange (Connecting/Waiting): The app is working – either connecting or waiting for you to scan/enter the code.
• ● Red (Error/Not Connected): Something went wrong. Try the troubleshooting steps below.

6. Troubleshooting Tips

• “Feature Unavailable” Message: This means the feature cannot run on your device. This is rare and usually happens on certain older Android versions or specific device types.
• Connection Keeps Failing:
  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
  • Ensure WhatsApp is updated to the latest version on your phone.
  • Try closing the app completely and reopening it.
  • Tap “Retry” if a retry button appears.
• QR Pattern Expired: Simply tap “Show QR” again to generate a new one.
• Pairing Code Not Working:
  • Double-check you entered your phone number correctly with the country code.
  • Make sure WhatsApp is open and active on your phone.
  • Try entering the code quickly – it expires after a few minutes.
• Groups Not Loading: Tap the “Refresh” button to reload your group list.
• Contact Permission Request: The app needs permission to save contacts. If asked, please tap “Allow” to continue.

A: No. The app only reads the member list that’s already visible to you as a group member. No notification is sent to anyone.
