Introduction

Have you ever added a new contact to your phone’s address book, opened WhatsApp, and wondered why that contact isn’t showing up? You’re not alone! This is a common occurrence that confuses many users. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll explain exactly how WhatsApp contact synchronization works, why there’s a delay, and what you can do to speed up the process.

Important Note: This is NOT a bug or issue with our WBS Sender app. The contact sync process is entirely managed by WhatsApp/Meta and follows their own synchronization protocols.

1. How WhatsApp Contact Sync Works

The Technical Process

When you save a new contact to your phone, WhatsApp doesn’t instantly know about it. Here’s what happens behind the scenes:

Contact Saved: You save a new contact to your Android phone’s contacts database.

Android Sync Framework: Android’s sync framework detects changes in the contacts database.

WhatsApp Sync Adapter: WhatsApp has a registered SyncAdapter that periodically checks for contact changes.

Account Creation: WhatsApp creates a “RawContact” entry linked to their account type (com.whatsapp or com.whatsapp.w4b).

Server Verification: The contact is sent to WhatsApp’s servers to verify if the number has WhatsApp.

Visibility Update: Once verified, the contact appears in WhatsApp’s contact list.

Why There’s a Delay

The synchronization delay happens because:

Battery Optimization: Android delays background sync to save battery.

Server Load: WhatsApp may throttle sync requests to manage server load.

Network Conditions: Poor internet connection can delay sync.

Sync Intervals: WhatsApp doesn’t sync instantly – it uses scheduled intervals.

Number Verification: WhatsApp must verify if the number is registered on their servers.

2. The WhatsApp-Meta Synchronization Process

Account Types and RawContacts

WhatsApp integrates with Android’s contact system using:

Account Type: “com.whatsapp” for regular WhatsApp, “com.whatsapp.w4b” for WhatsApp Business.

RawContacts: Each app creates its own RawContact entries linked to phone contacts.

Data Tables: Phone numbers, names, and WhatsApp-specific data are stored in Android’s Data table.

Server-Side Verification

When a contact syncs:

WhatsApp sends the phone number to Meta’s servers.

Servers check if the number is registered on WhatsApp.

If registered, the contact gets WhatsApp features (status, last seen, online indicators).

If not registered, it may still appear but without WhatsApp features.

3. Why It’s Not Our App’s Issue

Separate Systems

Our WBS Sender app and WhatsApp operate as completely separate systems:

WBS Sender: Reads from your phone’s contact database.

WhatsApp: Manages its own sync process independently.

No Control: Third-party apps cannot force or control WhatsApp’s sync timing.

Technical Reality: WhatsApp deliberately restricts third-party access to their sync process for security and privacy reasons. This is why no app can instantly make contacts appear in WhatsApp.

4. How to Make Sync Faster

Manual Triggers

While you can’t force instant sync, you can trigger it manually:

Open WhatsApp: Simply opening WhatsApp often triggers a sync check.

Refresh Contacts: In WhatsApp, go to Contacts tab and pull to refresh.

Check Settings: Ensure contacts permission is granted to WhatsApp.

Restart WhatsApp: Fully close and reopen WhatsApp.

Check Google Sync: Ensure your Google account is syncing contacts.

System Settings to Check

WhatsApp Permissions: Settings → Apps → WhatsApp → Permissions → Contacts (must be enabled).

Auto-Sync: Settings → Accounts → Google → Enable auto-sync.

Background Data: Allow WhatsApp to use background data.

Battery Optimization: Exclude WhatsApp from battery optimization.

Advanced Tips

Save with Country Code: Always save numbers with +[country_code] for faster recognition.

Consistent Format: Use the same number format as in WhatsApp.

Wait Patiently: Sometimes sync can take up to 30 minutes.

Check Network: Ensure stable internet connection.

5. Understanding the Sync Buttons in WBS Sender

Check Sync Button

The “Check Sync” button in CampaignDetailActivity helps you identify which contacts haven’t synced with WhatsApp yet:

What It Does:

Queries WhatsApp’s RawContacts: Reads all contacts that have successfully synced with WhatsApp.

Compares with Campaign: Checks which numbers in your campaign are not in WhatsApp’s synced list.

Shows Unsynced Contacts: Displays a list of contacts that haven’t appeared in WhatsApp yet.

Legacy Feature: Primarily useful for legacy bulk sending using Accessibility Service.

Technical Implementation:

The button uses the WhatsAppSyncChecker class which:

Queries Android’s ContactsContract.Data table with WhatsApp’s account type.

Extracts phone numbers that have WhatsApp RawContacts.

Normalizes numbers for accurate comparison.

Handles both regular WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business accounts.

Force Sync Button

The “Force Sync” button attempts to trigger WhatsApp’s sync process:

What It Does:

Opens WhatsApp: Launches WhatsApp to potentially trigger its sync mechanism.

Requests Account Sync: Programmatically requests Android to sync WhatsApp accounts.

Limited Effectiveness: Can only suggest sync – WhatsApp controls the actual timing.

System-Level Request: Uses Android’s ContentResolver.requestSync() API.

Technical Implementation:

The button uses two methods:

Launch Intent: Opens WhatsApp using package launch intent.

Sync Request: Calls ContentResolver.requestSync() with manual and expedited flags.

Limitation: These buttons cannot force instant sync. They can only request or suggest sync to WhatsApp’s system. The actual timing is controlled by WhatsApp/Meta.

6. Common Misconceptions

Myth: “The app can force WhatsApp to sync instantly”

Reality: No third-party app can force WhatsApp to sync contacts. WhatsApp controls their own sync timing for security reasons.

Myth: “If it’s not working, the app is broken”

Reality: Contact sync delays are normal and caused by WhatsApp’s infrastructure, not our app.

Myth: “All contacts should appear immediately”

Reality: Sync can take from a few seconds to 30 minutes or more, depending on various factors.

7. Best Practices for Contact Management

Before Adding Contacts

Use Country Codes: Always include +[country_code] with phone numbers.

Consistent Format: Follow the same format for all numbers.

Verify Numbers: Ensure numbers are correctly formatted.

After Adding Contacts

Wait Patiently: Give WhatsApp time to sync (5-30 minutes).

Open WhatsApp: Launch WhatsApp to potentially trigger sync.

Check Permissions: Ensure WhatsApp has contacts permission.

Use Check Sync: Use our Check Sync button to verify status.

For Bulk Operations

Add Contacts in Batches: Don’t add hundreds at once.

Stagger Addition: Add contacts over time rather than all at once.

Verify Sync: Check sync status between batches.

8. Troubleshooting Sync Issues

Contacts Still Not Showing After 30 Minutes?

Check Number Format: Verify the number includes country code.

Verify WhatsApp Account: Confirm the contact actually uses WhatsApp.

Clear WhatsApp Cache: Settings → Apps → WhatsApp → Storage → Clear cache.

Restart Phone: A simple restart can fix many sync issues.

Reinstall WhatsApp: As a last resort, reinstall WhatsApp.

Check Sync Button Shows All Contacts as Unsynced?

Permission Issue: Ensure our app has contacts permission.

WhatsApp Not Installed: Verify WhatsApp is installed on the device.

Account Issue: Check if you’re logged into WhatsApp.

Rooted Devices: Some rooted devices have sync issues.

9. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why can’t WBS Sender make contacts appear in WhatsApp instantly?

A: WhatsApp deliberately restricts third-party access to their sync system for security and privacy. Only WhatsApp can control when contacts sync.

Q: How long does sync usually take?

A: Typically 5-30 minutes, but can vary based on network conditions, server load, and battery optimization settings.

Q: Does the Force Sync button really work?

A: It can suggest sync to WhatsApp, but WhatsApp decides when to actually perform the sync. It may speed up the process but won’t make it instant.

Q: Why do some contacts sync faster than others?

A: Factors include number format, network conditions, server verification time, and whether the number is actually registered on WhatsApp.

Q: Is this a bug in WBS Sender?

A: No, this is WhatsApp’s normal behavior. Our app simply reads what’s available in Android’s contact database after WhatsApp has synced.

Q: Can I use WBS Sender without waiting for sync?

A: For Advanced Automation (WhatsApp sessions), sync is not required. For legacy bulk sending, you need synced contacts.

10. Conclusion

Understanding WhatsApp’s contact sync process helps manage expectations when using our WBS Sender app. Remember that sync delays are normal and controlled by WhatsApp/Meta, not by our application. The sync buttons in our app are tools to help you identify and potentially expedite the sync process, but they cannot override WhatsApp’s internal timing.

Pro Tip: For best results, add contacts to your phone well before you plan to use them in campaigns. This gives WhatsApp plenty of time to sync them properly.

Introduction

Welcome to the guide for the Legacy WhatsApp Bulk Sender! This powerful feature allows you to send the same message to multiple contacts from a saved contact list (called a Campaign). Think of it like sending a newsletter or announcement to many people at once – you compose your message once, and the app delivers it to everyone on your list automatically!

How it works: This feature uses Android’s Accessibility Service to automate the process of sending messages through WhatsApp. You compose your message, select a contact list, and the app opens WhatsApp and sends messages to each contact one-by-one, just like you would do manually – but automatically!

1. Getting Started: Composing Your Message

Before sending messages, you’ll first need to create your content in the message composition screen.

Opening the Sender

Navigate to Sender: Find and tap the “Sender” option in your app’s main menu or navigation drawer.

You’ll see the message composition screen with a text box and options to add media attachments.

Writing Your Message

Type your message in the large text box provided.

Character Limit: WhatsApp allows up to 4,096 characters per message. The app will show a warning if your message is too long.

Recommended Length: For better delivery rates, try to keep messages under 2,000 characters.

Personalizing Your Messages

You can make each message feel personal by including the recipient’s name!

Tap the “Add Template” button (usually a tag icon).

Choose “First Name” or “Last Name” – a special placeholder will be inserted.

Example: If you type “Hello <first_name>, how are you?” – each recipient will see their own name in the message!

Note: The name will only appear if you have saved names for your contacts in the campaign.

2. Adding Photos, Videos, or Files

You can attach media to your messages to make them more engaging.

Adding Images or Videos

Tap the “+” button (or the gallery/attachment icon).

Select “Images/Videos” from the popup options.

Browse and select the photos or videos you want to send.

Multiple selection: You can select several files at once.

Preview: Your selected media will appear as thumbnails on the screen.

Adding Documents or Files

Tap the “+” button.

Select “Files” from the options.

Browse and select any document (PDF, Word, Excel, etc.).

Removing Attachments

Changed your mind? Tap the “Clear All” button (usually a trash icon) to remove all attachments and start fresh.

3. The Unsubscribe Option

This is an important feature for respecting your recipients’ preferences.

What is the Unsubscribe Option?

When enabled, a special message is added to the end of your text that tells recipients how to stop receiving messages from you. For example: “Reply STOP to unsubscribe.”

How to Use It

The checkbox is enabled by default – we recommend keeping it on!

If you uncheck it: A warning will appear reminding you about the importance of giving people a way to opt out.

Required Setup: You need to have at least one unsubscribe message saved in the app. If none exists, you’ll be prompted to create one.

Important: For the unsubscribe feature to work, the app needs “Notification Access” permission. This allows the app to detect when someone replies with “STOP.”

4. Selecting a Contact List (Campaign)

After composing your message, you need to choose who will receive it.

How to Select

Tap the “Send” button at the bottom of the composition screen.

You’ll see a list of your saved campaigns (contact lists).

Each campaign shows:

The name of the contact list

Number of contacts in the list

Status (active/inactive)

Tap on a campaign to start sending messages to those contacts.

No campaigns? You’ll see a message saying no campaigns are available. Go back and create a campaign first by importing contacts or using the Group Contacts Extractor feature.

5. Before Sending: Validation Checks

The app performs several important checks before starting to send messages.

Accessibility Service Check

The app needs a special permission called “Accessibility Service” to be able to send messages automatically.

If not enabled: You’ll see a message asking you to enable it in Settings.

How to enable: Go to your phone’s Settings → Accessibility → Find the app → Turn it ON.

Contact Validation

The app checks if your contacts are properly synced with WhatsApp.

A progress bar will show while contacts are being validated.

If some contacts aren’t synced: You’ll see a warning showing how many contacts might not receive the message.

Your options:

“Send Anyway” – Proceed with sending to all contacts

“View Details” – See which contacts have issues

“Cancel” – Go back and fix the issues first

WhatsApp Installed Check

The app verifies that WhatsApp (or WhatsApp Business) is installed on your device.

Permission Checks

Various permissions may be requested:

Notification permission (Android 13+): Required for the app to show progress notifications.

Storage permissions: Required if you’re sending media attachments.

6. The Sending Process

Once all checks pass, the magic begins!

What Happens Next

WhatsApp opens automatically on your device.

The app navigates to each contact’s chat automatically.

Your message is typed into the message box.

The send button is tapped automatically.

The process repeats for each contact in your list.

Important: Keep your screen on during the sending process! The app cannot send messages if your phone goes to sleep. The app will try to keep the screen on, but make sure battery optimization is disabled for the app.

Delays Between Messages

The app automatically adds random delays between messages (typically 10-15 seconds) to:

Prevent WhatsApp from detecting unusual activity

Make the sending pattern look natural

Reduce the risk of account issues

7. Monitoring Progress

You can track how your campaign is doing.

What You’ll See

Progress in notifications: A notification shows how many messages have been sent.

Dashboard: After sending, you can view detailed results in the campaign summary.

Success count: Number of messages successfully sent.

Fail count: Number of messages that couldn’t be delivered.

8. Viewing Sending History

The app keeps a record of all your sending activities.

Timeline View

The bottom section of the Sender screen shows your recent sending sessions:

Date and time of each session

Message preview

Number of contacts targeted

Success/failure counts

Deleting History

You can remove old entries by swiping left on any timeline item, or use the menu option to clear all history.

9. Troubleshooting Tips

Messages not sending:

Ensure Accessibility Service is enabled for the app.

Make sure WhatsApp is up to date.

Check your internet connection.

Disable battery optimization for both this app and WhatsApp.

“Accessibility Service not running”:

Go to Settings → Accessibility → Find the app → Enable it.

Some phones may require you to enable it each time after a restart.

Screen keeps turning off:

Increase your screen timeout in phone settings.

Disable battery optimization for the app.

Keep your phone plugged in while sending.

Contacts showing as “not synced”:

These contacts may not have WhatsApp or have a different phone number.

Try sending anyway – the app will skip contacts that can’t be reached.

Message is too long:

Shorten your message to under 4,096 characters.

Consider breaking long messages into multiple shorter ones.

10. Tips for Best Results

Start small: Test with a small group first before sending to your entire list.

Keep messages short: Under 2,000 characters is ideal.

Personalize: Use the name placeholders to make messages feel personal.

Respect unsubscribes: Always include the unsubscribe option.

Don’t overdo it: Avoid sending too many messages in one day.

Good timing: Send during appropriate hours for your recipients.

Quality contacts: Keep your contact lists clean and up-to-date.

11. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I use WhatsApp while messages are being sent?

A: No. The app needs to control WhatsApp to send messages. Using WhatsApp manually will interrupt the process.

Q: Will WhatsApp ban my account?

A: The app adds delays to mimic natural usage, but sending too many messages too quickly can trigger WhatsApp’s spam detection. Use responsibly and in moderation.

Q: Can I stop the sending process once it starts?

A: Yes! Press your phone’s Back button or close the app to stop. However, messages already sent cannot be unsent.

Q: Why do some messages fail?

A: Messages may fail if the recipient has blocked you, their number is no longer on WhatsApp, or there was a temporary connection issue.

Q: Can I send to groups using this feature?

A: This feature is designed for sending to individual contacts. For group messaging, use the dedicated group features in the app.

Q: How many messages can I send at once?

A: There’s no hard limit in the app, but WhatsApp may restrict accounts that send too many messages. We recommend not exceeding 100-200 messages per day to stay safe.

Introduction

Welcome to the Legacy Group Contact Grabber guide! This feature allows you to automatically collect phone numbers from any WhatsApp group you’re a member of. Unlike the modern WA Group Contacts Extractor, this legacy method uses your phone’s accessibility features to read contact information directly from the WhatsApp app itself.

What makes this “Legacy”? This method works by watching what’s on your screen through a special phone feature called “Accessibility Service.” It reads phone numbers as you scroll through the group member list. While effective, it’s considered “legacy” because newer methods exist that work differently.

1. Before You Start

There are a few things you need to set up before you can grab contacts from WhatsApp groups.

Enabling the Special Service

The app needs a special permission called “Accessibility Service” to be able to see what’s on your WhatsApp screen.

Open Your Phone Settings: Find the gear icon (⚙️) on your phone.

Find Accessibility: Look for “Accessibility” or “Additional Settings” → “Accessibility”.

Find WBS or WB Sender: Look for our app in the list of installed services.

Turn It On: Flip the switch to enable the service.

Confirm Permission: A message will appear explaining what the service can do. Tap “OK” or “Allow” to confirm.

Safety Note: This permission allows the app to see what’s on your screen only when WhatsApp is open. The app only reads group member information and doesn’t access your personal messages or other apps.

Granting Contact Permission

The app may also ask for permission to access your contacts. This helps the app:

Match phone numbers with names you already have saved.

Avoid duplicating contacts you already know.

Save the grabbed contacts to your phone’s contact list (optional).

When prompted, tap “Allow” to grant contact access.

2. Starting the Group Grabber

Once permissions are set up, here’s how to grab contacts from a WhatsApp group:

Step-by-Step Process

Open the App: Launch WBS/WB Sender on your phone.

Navigate to Group Grabber: Find “Legacy Group Grabber” or “Group Contact Grabber” in the menu.

Tap Start: The app will prepare to capture contacts.

Switch to WhatsApp: Open WhatsApp on your phone (either regular WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business).

Open a Group Chat: Navigate to any group from which you want to collect phone numbers.

Open Group Info: Tap on the group name at the top to see group details and the member list.

Scroll Slowly: Slowly scroll through the list of group members. The app reads each member’s phone number as they appear on screen.

Wait for Completion: A floating indicator will show you how many contacts have been collected. When you’ve scrolled through all members, the collection will finish automatically.

Pro Tip: Scroll slowly and steadily! If you scroll too fast, some contacts might be missed because the screen changes before the app can read them.

3. Reviewing Collected Contacts

After the grabbing process completes, you’ll automatically be taken to a review screen where you can see all the contacts that were collected.

What You’ll See

Group Name: The name of the WhatsApp group appears at the top (e.g., “Contacts from: Family Group”).

Contact List: Each collected member is shown with their name and phone number.

Checkboxes: Every contact has a checkbox – checked means it will be saved.

Select All / Unselect All: Use the header checkbox to quickly select or deselect everyone.

Understanding Contact Names

Contacts may appear with different types of names:

Saved Contact Name: If the person is already in your phone contacts, their saved name will show.

WhatsApp Profile Name: If you don’t have them saved, their WhatsApp name is used.

Auto-Generated Name: For members without a visible name, the app creates one like “GroupName_1”, “GroupName_2”, etc.

Selecting Which Contacts to Keep

Keep All: By default, all collected contacts are selected. Simply proceed to save.

Remove Specific People: Uncheck the box next to anyone you don’t want to save.

Start Fresh: Uncheck the “Select All” header box, then individually select only those you want.

4. Editing Contacts

Before saving, you can make changes to individual contacts.

Adding Contacts Manually

Did the grabber miss someone? You can add them manually:

Tap the floating “+” button (bottom right corner).

A menu option will appear: “Add More Contacts”.

Tap it to open a form where you can enter a name and phone number.

Fill in the details and tap “Save”.

The new contact appears in your list.

Deleting Unwanted Contacts

Need to remove multiple contacts at once?

Select the Contacts: Check the boxes next to contacts you want to remove.

Tap “Delete Selected”: Press the red delete button at the top of the screen.

Confirm: A confirmation popup will appear. Tap “OK” to delete.

Warning: Deleted contacts cannot be recovered! You would need to run the grabber again if you accidentally delete needed contacts.

5. Saving Contacts as a Campaign

A “Campaign” is a saved list of contacts that you can use later for sending bulk messages.

Premium Feature: Saving contacts requires a Premium subscription. Free users can view grabbed contacts but cannot save them as campaigns.

How to Save

Review Your Selection: Make sure all the contacts you want are checked.

Tap “Save As…”: Press the purple/accent-colored save button at the top.

Name Your Campaign: A popup appears with the group name pre-filled. You can change it to anything you like (e.g., “Gym Buddies”, “Project Team”, etc.).

Check the Count: The popup shows exactly how many contacts will be saved.

Tap “Save”: Wait while your contacts are being saved.

Progress Indicator

While saving, you’ll see a progress bar showing:

Current step: “Getting group ID…” then “Saving contacts…”

Progress percentage: How close to completion.

After Saving Successfully

Once saved, a success message appears with two choices:

“Start Sending Messages”: Takes you directly to the message sending screen to use your new contact list immediately.

“Manage Campaign”: Takes you to the campaign management area where you can view, edit, or send later.

6. Status Indicators

During the grabbing process, you may see various indicators:

Floating Popup (During Collection)

Contact Count: Shows how many phone numbers have been captured so far.

Status Messages: May show “Scrolling…”, “Processing…”, or “Completing…”

Progress Card (On Review Screen)

Loading Spinner: Appears briefly when processing grabbed contacts.

Hidden when ready: Disappears once all contacts are displayed in the list.

7. Troubleshooting

No Contacts Captured

Check Accessibility Service: Make sure the app’s accessibility service is enabled in phone settings.

Restart the Service: Try turning the accessibility service off and on again.

Scroll Slower: If you scrolled too fast, try again more slowly.

Ensure Group Info is Visible: You must be on the group info screen (where members are listed), not just in the chat.

Some Contacts Missing

Scroll All the Way: Make sure you scrolled through the ENTIRE member list, from top to bottom.

Scroll Steadily: Avoid jumping or flicking – use smooth, slow scrolling.

Try Again: Sometimes network delays cause issues. Retry the process.

Add Manually: Use the “+” button to add any missing contacts by hand.

App Crashes or Freezes

Clear App Cache: Go to phone Settings → Apps → WBS/WB Sender → Clear Cache.

Restart Your Phone: A simple restart can fix many issues.

Update the App: Make sure you have the latest version from the Play Store.

Permission Issues

“Contacts Permission Denied”: Go to phone Settings → Apps → WBS/WB Sender → Permissions → Enable Contacts.

Accessibility Service Keeps Turning Off: Some phones have battery optimization that disables accessibility services. Exclude the app from battery optimization in settings.

8. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is my WhatsApp account safe when using this feature?

A: Yes! This feature only reads publicly visible information from group member lists. It doesn’t log into WhatsApp or change anything – it simply reads what’s already on your screen.

Q: Will group members know I grabbed their numbers?

A: No. The process is completely invisible to other users. There are no notifications sent to anyone.

Q: What’s the difference between this and the “WA Group Contacts Extractor”?

A: The Legacy Group Grabber (this feature) uses accessibility services to read your screen. The newer WA Group Contacts Extractor uses WhatsApp Web linking technology. Both achieve the same result – grabbing group contacts – but work in different ways.

Q: Can I grab from WhatsApp Business groups?

A: Yes! The grabber works with both regular WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business.

Q: What if someone in the group has a hidden phone number?

A: If someone has hidden their phone number in WhatsApp privacy settings, it won’t be visible in the group member list and therefore can’t be captured.

Q: Is there a limit to how many contacts I can grab?

A: There’s no set limit. You can grab contacts from groups with hundreds of members. Just scroll through the entire list patiently.

Q: Why does it ask for “Overlay” permission?

A: The overlay permission allows the app to show you the floating progress indicator while you’re scrolling through WhatsApp. It helps you see how many contacts have been captured without switching apps.

Introduction

Welcome to the guide for the WA Group Management tool! This feature allows you to easily create new WhatsApp groups and add members to your existing groups, all without leaving the app. It connects to your WhatsApp account securely, similar to how WhatsApp Web works on your computer.

With this tool, you can:

Create brand new WhatsApp groups with participants from your contacts.

Add new members to any of your existing WhatsApp groups.

1. Getting Started

Before you can manage groups, you need to connect the app to your WhatsApp account. This is a one-time setup that links your phone to our management engine.

Opening the Group Management Screen

Navigate to the “WA Group Management” section in the app.

You will see a Connection Status card at the top of the screen showing the current state.

2. Creating a New WhatsApp Group

Once connected, you can create new groups directly from this app!

Step 1: Enter the Group Name

In the “Create New Group” section, type a name for your group (maximum 25 characters). Choose something meaningful that your members will recognize.

Step 2: Add Participants

Tap the “+” button next to “Select Participants”.

Important: You must have at least one participant to create a group. The group name is required.

3. Adding Members to an Existing Group

Already have a group and want to add more people? This tool makes it easy!

Step 1: Select Your Group

Look for the “Add Members to Existing Group” section below the create group area.

Step 2: Select Members to Add

Tap the “+” button next to “Members to Add”.

Your contact list will open. Select the new members you want to add.

You can see a count of how many new members you’re adding.

Step 3: Add Members

Tap “Add Members”: The app will start adding each person to the group.

Wait for completion: A loading indicator shows the progress.

See results: A message will tell you how many members were successfully added (e.g., “5 members added successfully”).

Good to know: After adding members, the list clears automatically so you can add more people if needed.

4. Understanding the Connection Status

The colored dot at the top tells you the current state:

● Orange (Connecting): The app is trying to establish a connection.

● Orange (Waiting for Scan): A QR code or pairing code is ready for you to use.

● Green (Connected): You’re connected and ready to manage groups!

● Red (Not Connected / Error): Something went wrong. See troubleshooting tips below.

5. Troubleshooting Tips

Connection Problems

“Connecting…” takes too long: Check your internet connection. Try closing and reopening the app.

QR Code not appearing: Tap “Or Scan QR” again to request a fresh code.

Pairing Code not working: Make sure you entered your phone number correctly with the country code. The code expires after a few minutes, so try requesting a new one.

Connection Keeps Dropping

Ensure your main WhatsApp phone has a stable internet connection.

If prompted, tap “Retry” to reconnect. The app will attempt to reconnect automatically up to 3 times.

If connection issues persist, close the app completely and start fresh.

Can’t See My Groups

Make sure you are connected (green status).

Tap the “Refresh Groups” button to reload the group list.

Only groups where you are an admin may allow you to add members (WhatsApp restriction).

Member Addition Failed

The person may have privacy settings preventing them from being added to groups.

You may not have admin rights in that group.

The phone number may not be registered on WhatsApp.

6. Best Practices

Check participants before creating: Review the list of selected contacts before tapping “Create Group” to avoid adding wrong people.

Use meaningful group names: Choose clear, descriptive names so members understand the group’s purpose.

Refresh groups regularly: If you’ve created new groups directly in WhatsApp, tap “Refresh Groups” to see them here.

Remove unwanted contacts: Before creating a group or adding members, you can tap the remove button next to any contact to deselect them.

You have two ways to connect your WhatsApp account: using a Pairing Code (recommended) or scanning a QR Code.

Option A: Using Pairing Code (Easiest)

Enter Your Phone Number: Type your phone number with country code (e.g., +1 for USA, +91 for India). Make sure to include the “+” sign at the beginning.

Copy the Code: A 8-digit code will appear on screen (like “1234-5678”). Remember or note down this code.

Open WhatsApp on Your Phone:

Go to Settings (gear icon)

Tap Linked Devices

Tap Link a Device

● Red: Connection error or not connected. Try reconnecting.

7. Troubleshooting Tips

“Connection Error” Message

Make sure your phone has an active internet connection (WiFi or mobile data).

Tap the “Retry” button when prompted.

If problems persist, try closing and reopening the app.

QR Code Expired or Not Loading

QR codes last for about 3 minutes. If expired, tap “Show QR Code” again to get a new one.

Make sure the app has fully initialized before requesting the QR code.

Try using the Pairing Code method instead — it’s often more reliable.

Phone Number Errors

“Enter phone number”: You left the phone number field empty.

“Must start with +”: Add your country code with a “+” sign (e.g., +1, +44, +91).

“Invalid format”: Check that your phone number has the correct number of digits (usually 10-15 digits total including country code).

Session Expired / Disconnected

If you see “Restoring session…”, wait a moment. The app is trying to reconnect automatically.

If reconnection fails after 3 attempts, you’ll see a popup with “Retry” and “Troubleshoot” options.

Tap “Troubleshoot” for additional helpful tips.

Can’t Add or Remove Contacts

Make sure you’re connected (green status indicator).

If you see “Not authenticated”, you need to reconnect your WhatsApp account first.

Check your internet connection and try again.

8. Important Notes

What Happens When You Block Someone?

They cannot send you messages on WhatsApp.

They cannot see your profile picture, status updates, or “last seen”.

They will not know they’ve been blocked — their messages simply won’t be delivered.

You will not receive their calls or messages.

What Happens When You Unblock Someone?

They can message you again.

They can see your profile picture and status.

Messages they sent while blocked will not be delivered — those are lost.

Privacy & Safety

Your WhatsApp connection is secure and uses the same protection as WhatsApp Web.

The app only accesses your blocklist — it cannot read your messages or chats.

You can disconnect your session anytime by unlinking the device from WhatsApp settings.

Introduction

Welcome to the guide for the WA Group Contacts Extractor! This amazing feature allows you to pull out phone numbers from your WhatsApp groups and save them as a new contact list (Campaign) for messaging later. Think of it like copying everyone’s phone number from a group chat with just a few taps!

1. Getting Started

Before you can extract contacts, you need to connect the app to your WhatsApp account. This works similar to WhatsApp Web – it links your phone to the app securely.

Opening the Feature

Navigate to WA Group Contacts Extractor: Find and tap this option in your app menu.

Wait for Startup: The app will automatically start preparing. You’ll see a “Connecting…” message.

Choose Your Connection Method: You have two options to link your WhatsApp account (see below).

Option A: Using Pairing Code (Recommended)

This is the easiest method if you don’t have another device to scan a pattern.

Enter your WhatsApp phone number in the box provided. Important: Include your country code with a plus sign (e.g., +1234567890).

Tap the “Get Code” button.

A special code will appear on screen (like: 1234-5678).

On your WhatsApp phone, go to Settings > Linked Devices > Link a Device.

Tap “Link with phone number instead”.

Type in the code shown on the app screen.

Wait for confirmation – you’ll see “Connected” when successful!

Option B: Using the QR Pattern

Use this if you prefer scanning a pattern with your phone’s camera.

Tap the “Show QR” button.

A unique black and white pattern will appear.

Open WhatsApp on your main phone.

Go to Settings > Linked Devices > Link a Device.

Point your camera at the pattern on screen.

Wait for confirmation – the status will change to “Connected”.

Note: If the QR pattern expires before you scan it, simply tap “Show QR” again to get a fresh one.

2. Viewing Your Groups

Once connected, the app will automatically load all your WhatsApp groups.

What You’ll See

Groups List: A list showing all your WhatsApp group chats.

Group Count: The total number of groups found (e.g., “Found: 15 groups”).

Refresh Button: Use this if you recently joined a new group and don’t see it in the list.

Selecting a Group

Simply tap on any group to see who’s in it. The app will then fetch all the members of that group.

3. Viewing Group Members

After selecting a group, you’ll see a list of all members (participants) in that group.

What You’ll See

Group Name: The name of the selected group appears at the top.

Member List: Each member’s name and phone number is displayed.

Selection Count: Shows how many contacts you’ve selected (e.g., “12 of 25 selected”).

Checkboxes: Each member has a checkbox – checked means they’ll be saved.

Choosing Which Contacts to Save

Select All: Use the “Select All” checkbox at the top to quickly select everyone.

Individual Selection: Tap individual checkboxes to include or exclude specific people.

Unselect All: Uncheck the “Select All” box to clear all selections.

Tip: By default, all members are pre-selected for your convenience.

4. Saving Contacts to a Campaign

A “Campaign” is simply a saved list of contacts that you can use for bulk messaging later.

Premium Feature: This feature requires a Premium subscription. Non-Premium users will see the save button disabled.

How to Save

Select Contacts: Make sure you’ve selected the contacts you want to save.

Tap “Save to Campaign”: Press the purple button at the bottom of the screen.

Name Your List: A popup will appear with a suggested name (the group name). You can change this to anything you like (e.g., “Gym Friends”, “Work Team”, etc.).

See the Count: The popup will show exactly how many contacts will be saved.

Confirm: Tap “Save” to create your new contact list.

After Saving

Once saved, the app will:

Show a success message with the number of contacts saved.

Automatically take you to the Campaign Summary screen where you can see your new list.

You can now use this campaign in the WhatsApp Automation feature to send bulk messages!

5. Status Indicators

The colored dot next to the connection status tells you the current state:

● Green (Connected): Successfully linked to WhatsApp. You’re good to go!

● Orange (Connecting/Waiting): The app is working – either connecting or waiting for you to scan/enter the code.

● Red (Error/Not Connected): Something went wrong. Try the troubleshooting steps below.

6. Troubleshooting Tips

“Feature Unavailable” Message: This means the feature cannot run on your device. This is rare and usually happens on certain older Android versions or specific device types.

Pairing Code Not Working:

Double-check you entered your phone number correctly with the country code.

Make sure WhatsApp is open and active on your phone.

Try entering the code quickly – it expires after a few minutes.

Groups Not Loading: Tap the “Refresh” button to reload your group list.

Contact Permission Request: The app needs permission to save contacts. If asked, please tap “Allow” to continue.

7. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this safe for my WhatsApp account?

A: Yes! This uses the same linking method as WhatsApp Web. Your messages stay private, and you can unlink the session anytime from your phone’s WhatsApp settings.

Q: Will people in the group know I extracted their numbers?

A: No. The app only reads the member list that’s already visible to you as a group member. No notification is sent to anyone.

Q: Can I extract from multiple groups?

A: Yes! After saving contacts from one group, simply go back and select another group. Each will be saved as a separate campaign.

Q: How many contacts can I extract?

A: There’s no limit to the number of contacts you can extract. Even groups with hundreds of members work perfectly.

Q: What format are phone numbers saved in?

A: Phone numbers are saved in international format starting with a “+” sign, which works perfectly with the bulk messaging feature.

Introduction

Welcome to the guide for the WhatsApp Automation tool! This feature allows you to send bulk messages to your contacts efficiently and reliably using your own WhatsApp account. Designed with safety and ease of use in mind, it handles the heavy lifting of sending messages one by one so you don’t have to.

1. Getting Started

Before you can send messages, you need to connect the app to your WhatsApp account. This connects your phone’s WhatsApp to our automation engine, similar to how WhatsApp Web works.

Connecting Your Account

Open the Automation Screen: Navigate to the WhatsApp Automation section in the app.

Wait for Initialization: The app will automatically start the background service. You’ll see a “Connecting…” status.

Scan QR Code:

Once ready, a fake QR code might appear initially, but wait for the “Scan to Connect” status.

Open WhatsApp on your primary phone (the one you want to send messages from).

Go to Settings > Linked Devices > Link a Device.

Point your phone’s camera at the QR code shown on the Automation screen.

Success: Once scanned, the status will change to “Session Active”. You are now ready to send!

Note: If you prefer to use a Pairing Code instead of a camera, tap the “Use Pairing Code” button (if available) and follow the prompts.

2. Setting Up a Campaign

A “Campaign” is simply the group of contacts you want to message and the content you want to send.

Step 1: Select Your Campaign

Tap the “Select Campaign” dropdown box. This will show a list of your saved contact lists (Campaigns). Pick the one you want to message today. The app will automatically load the contacts from that list.

Step 2: Add Media (Optional)

You can send files along with your text messages. Use the buttons below the campaign selector:

Image: Opens your gallery to pick a photo.

Video: Opens your gallery to pick a video.

Document: Opens your file manager to pick a PDF, Word doc, etc.

Tip: To remove an attached file, simply tap the “Remove Attachment” button.

3. Smart Messaging (Anti-Spam)

To keep your account safe and prevent messages from looking like spam, this tool uses two smart features:

Message Variants

Tap “Manage Messages” to add multiple versions of your message. For example:

Variant 1: “Hello! Check out our new offer.”

Variant 2: “Hi there! We have a special deal for you.”

The system will randomly pick one variant for each contact. This makes your sending behavior look more human and natural.

Unsubscribe Option

You will see a switch tailored to “Add Unsubscribe Link”. We highly recommend leaving this ON. It automatically adds a polite footer (e.g., “Reply STOP to unsubscribe”) to your messages. This allows user to opt-out easily, reducing the chance they will report you for spam.

4. Sending Controls

Once you are set up, you have full control over the sending process:

Start Sending: Begins the bulk messaging process. The app will send messages one by one with a random delay (usually 10-15 seconds) between each to ensure safety.

Pause: Temporarily stops sending. Useful if you need to check something or lose internet connection. You can resume later from exactly where you left off.

Resume: Continues a paused or previously interrupted campaign.

Stop: Completely cancels the current sending session.

Progress Tracking

A progress card will appear showing:

Progress Bar: Visual indicator of how many messages have been sent.

Success/Fail Counts: Real-time counter of delivered vs. failed messages.

Next Message Timer: A countdown showing when the next message will be sent (e.g., “Next in 12s”).

5. Troubleshooting Tips

“Connection Error”: If the app says it can’t connect, try tapping the “Restart App” button if prompted, or simply close and reopen the app.

QR Code Not Loading: If the QR code expires or doesn’t appear, tap “Refresh QR”.

Sending Stopped? Ensure your phone has an active internet connection and the screen is not aggressively killed by battery savers. The app is designed to run in the foreground.
